New instrument - Nordic mandola

A video with some info on this new beautiful toy!

A few days a go I shared on my socials (and notes here too) a short video of an improvisation on a new string instrument that Søren Vinther Røgen has built for me.

Many people enquired about this type of instrument, so I made a short video to explain what it is.

My absolute favorite player of this type of instrument is a Swedish musician named Ale Carr. He plays a 5 course cittern and his amazing playing inspired me to order an instrument like this in the first place.
