A chat and a playlist with Ara Guzelimian

Last year I was very lucky to be one of the artists performing at the Ojai festival in California.

I curated my own early music inspired show and performed in many other concerts with Rhiannon Giddens, members of the Silk Road ensemble, Attacca quartet and other wonderful artists.

In preparation for the festival, artistic director Ara Guzelimian asked me to prepare a playlist with some of my favorite music, and we had a wonderful chat on zoom about it. You can see the whole conversation here (with some musical extracts).

I had a great time as few people I know are as prepared and interested in the same things I am as Ara! Listening back to this makes me think that If I had my own radio show, this is what it would sound like!
