A couple of nights ago we played a sold out show at the Fillmore in San Francisco.
This a very important historical venue and its stage has been walked by the greatest in the history of 20th century music, so it was an incredible honour to be able to bring our music there.
My friend Namiko Chen, food blogger and author behind the amazing Japanese food blog Just One Cookbook, came to the concert and took some videos from a great spot on the side balcony. I want to share here some of these videos, as I know it’s not always easy for all of you to come and see our live shows.
Here a short extract of “Following the North Star”, a banjo tune that Rhiannon wrote many years ago and that serves as the opener for all our concerts
One of our featured musicians is the amazing Dirk Powell. Dirk is a multi instrumentalist from Louisiana and here he guides us through a few Cajun accordion tunes.
Speaking of Louisiana…this is the finale of Rhiannon’s song “Louisiana man”. It is one of my favourite moments of the show, also because I have a chance to take an extended Hammond organ solo 🙃
