Last week I posted a recipe of an updated version of a pasta that my Nonna and my Mamma used to make when I was a child.

Ahmad Jamal became known for his minimal style and somewhat arranged and constructed interpretation of standards. Some of his music was criticised and described as “cocktail” jazz but his style went on to influence no less than Miles Davis, who often quoted him as source of inspiration for the sound of first great quintet.
