I learn so much from your food writing! And think you must have a cast iron stomach! So many strong, interesting, international flavors all the time- especially with performing. I get to taste by your descriptions. ♥️
Great report although sadly I won't be in NYC in the foreseeable future to follow up for myself.
I absolutely agree with your Michelin 'bib gourmand' comments (and about Michelin in general) - whenever we are touring in France I try to seek out bib gourmand places (even better if they also have rooms for an overnight stop).
What a great eating adventure in NYC! I hope you can find some interesting gastronomical adventures in Seattle. Not a single Michelin listing there, let alone Bib Gourmand spots???? See you on Friday at the Meany. Glad you are finally making to the Pacific Northwest :-).
Well, I should mention that Delaurenti's in Pike Place Market is a great place for Italian specialty ingredients, antipasti, etc. if that's of any interest to you while you are on the road:

Thank you for the tip about the Michelin app and the best value restaurants. All the food looks so delicious! I now want ramen for lunch!

All those meals looked sensational! Tuna and truffle, what a combo!
We're really enjoying these posts of yours, Francesco. Have a great time at Big Ears!
