It's hard for me to do the poll because food | music | travel | history | culture really do all interest me equally so I can't pick favorite/least favorite. The substack weaves those all together very well.

I don't use Spotify so if you could have an alternate method of posting playlists, that would be great.

I’m slowly stopping to use Spotify as I’ve signed up to Tidal, which is infinitely better for artists and for sound quality…but I fear not many people are on it. What do you use?

When I listen to the Smithsonian Folkways playlists, they have the Youtube option, but I will sign up for Tidal, thanks!

Ciao Francesco-

not eating dairy or red meat has made me look for other options/substitutes on some recipes. (Of course if I go to Palermo and Bari I will indulge)!

Thank you for the time and love you put into your posts. They are always most welcomed and appreciated! and make me long to embrace my roots. Happy New Year!

Happy New Year, Francesco! I'm a subscriber, but the poll won't allow me to vote for some reason. I love learning most about Italian/Sicilian cooking (my heritage) but also love learning about music from around the globe. Thanks for the tip on Tidal (hadn't heard of it before). Karen

I managed to somehow select the wrong answer: I actually LOVE the food culture posts (and perhaps care the least about playlists, because I am a little quirky). But all posts are great.

Happy new year!

I find the intermixing of food cultures interesting. You blend southern Italian, Japanese, the British Isles,

North America and the meals of varying quality available to a touring musician. Food is meant to be shared as part of our cultures. You are succeeding in that.
