Yea I love Anouar Brahem too! His music is definitely more spacey and meditative but definitely crosses borders in a very accessible way. I love the way these guys can play super spacey beautiful melodies as much as fierce groovy pieces!
Thanks Francesco -- you did not oversell this record at all. It's deeply beautiful, and novel in the mixture of influences that one can hear. Found on Apple Music as well.
Really lovely. The first time I listened to "Slide Dance" it just jangled me sideways and I couldn't keep up with their competing rhythms. And I love the slurring clarinet at the end of the last song.
Wonderful, lovely! Reminds me a bit of Anouar Brahem, a favorite of mine. BTW, looking forward to seeing you in Seattle soon :-)

I love it, and hearing Classical Gas by these wonderful musicians made me shout with joy.

Beautiful! Thank you! Especially glad to hear about new (to me) instrumental music.
Thank you! Excited to hear!
Thank you! It’s great getting introduced to music I’d never have found on my own.
Thanks so much! I don't cook, but finding new music is a treat. P.S. It's on Tidal also.
