I am a Grammy award winning musician with a great passion for food.
For years I have been reflecting, researching and writing about what music and food have in common, especially when they become expression of oral culture and self identification for communities.
Tired of classic social medias and their erratic algorithms, I have decided to move all my operations to a dedicated space here on Substack.
I am hoping to create a community that is interested in all the things that I love: stories, history, music, records, recipes, playlists and more…

I post on my substack web page once a week.
I write (as i have been done on my socials) about food travels, I do deep dives into Italian culinary traditions and ingredients. I write about traditional music, jazz and classical music, I research individual instruments and musical traditions, create playlists, recommend albums through a record club etc…
