I am absolutely thrilled you are doing this as I have been fascinated by - as you describe the connection between food and music (visual arts, too) and the reflections of its communities. A friend of mine use the expression "keeping the kitchen doors open" when it comes our own musical history, rediscovering our cultural backgrounds, etc!
Oh those are playlists I made back in the day for my students when I was teaching Jazz History (JH) and history of western music (HWM) at Newpark BA jazz degree in Dublin…
Wow. You just made my life better through this playlist. Part of that is introducing me to pieces I'd never known before. I didn't know that "Everything is Everything" was a Booker T. original. I'd also never heard Silver's "Sister Sadie." So much great stuff here!
Really looking forward to catching you on this tour. I've seen the two of you perform about 6 times now. So the million dollar question: how is Rhiannon's voice? Has it recovered?
I was at a "You're the One" concert in COllege Park, MD. We in the audience were asking questions, Rhiannon was typing her answers, and you were reading them. It was typically charming, but it made me worry about her angelic voice.
I love the preview of this spectacular playlist, but can't find a way to get the actual playlist in spotify; it's not yet listed on your "artist" page. Will it be available soon?
What a perfect title! Can’t wait to read more. 🔪 🎹

This will be fun!
Great to share this music. We'll be there in Brussels on 14/02.
Thank you for sharing this play list. I've been exploring your other Spotify playlists and was wondering what JH and HWM stand for? With gratitude.

She’s a lot better and recovering since the small surgery. Her voice is sounding and feeling good and she’s excited to be back singing! 🤞
See you in Seattle!

It works, and the playlist is magnificent—a life-enlarger. Thanks so much!
Love it! Great music to share at work.
Listening to it now, and I can't wait to listen to it again while entering the Vicar on February 25! Very excited to see you guys again <3
Thank you! I'm listening as I work.
